Who we are

Soriva Entertainment is an independent games studio founded by Caius and James Soriva. We design, build, and ship games ourselves — no publisher, no investor calendar, no deadline somebody else invented.

The studio is small on purpose. Two people, working closely, without the layers of management that show up the moment a company starts optimising for its next hiring round instead of its next game.

How we work

We're self-funded. We don't have employees. We ship when the work is ready, not when a quarterly plan says it should be. A fuller version of the thinking is in On Building a Studio Slowly.

No Patreon. No early access as a funding mechanism. No wishlist farming via placeholder Steam pages. The first game will be announced when there's genuinely something worth announcing, and not before.

What we care about

Craft you can feel. Worlds that hold up under pressure. Systems designed to be played, not to be monetised. Writing that takes itself seriously without being humourless. The long, slow thing rather than the quick, loud thing.

Where we are

The studio is based in the United Kingdom. We work remote-first but meet in person often.
